A NEW KICK Posted: 110816
Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. will reunite for a new Kick-Ass series but this time around the character will be a black female. The new series will be called Kick-Ass: The New Girl. The series will be set in a different city and feature a new supporting cast. According to Mark Millar: “Kick-Ass is like James Bond or Doctor Who where with a new face and a new situation and it suddenly feels very exciting. Every four volumes or so I want a different person in the mask. Sometimes it might even only last a single volume or even a single issue.” Romita Jr. has committed to work on Kick-Ass for three years. We will also see in January Hit-Girl from Millar and Rafael Albuquerque. Millar will write the first arc of the series and then Wolverine’s Daniel Way will take over for the following arcs.
