BBC One and Agatha Christie Productions Ltd have closed out a deal that will
result in seven new adaptations of Christie’s works over the next four years.
The first project from the deal was BBC One’s adaptation of And Then There Were
None which starred Charles Dance, Sam Neill, Noah Taylor and Aidan Turner. We
will see Ordeal By Innocence next which follows the mistrust within a family
when it’s discovered that the jailed adopted brother who killed their mother was
innocent and is now free which means that one of them is the real murderer.
Future projects include Death Comes As The End and The ABC Murders. Christie
fans will also soon see a two-part adaptation of The Witness for the Prosecution
starring Toby Jones, Andrea Riseborough, Kim Cattrall, David Haig, Billy Howle
and Monica Dolan. |
