Deadline has confirmed that Hail Caesar’s Alden Ehrenreich will play the young Han Solo in Phil Lord and Chris Miller's solo film. Lawrence and Jon Kasdan are writing the script that will show us how Solo became the person we saw in the first Star Wars film. The film will also include Chewbacca and a young Lando Calrissian. Rumors have Community’s Donald Glover as the top choice for the role.
