The current six-issue weekly Justice League vs. Suicide Squad
limited series features a fight between the two DC super teams. The limited
series is from Flash’s Joshua Williamson and the artists Jason Fabok, Tony S.
Daniel, Jesus Merino, Fernando Pasarin, Robson Rocha and Howard Porter. Each
issue will have 30 pages of art. The limited series will connect with the hidden
truths of Rebirth and reveal more of why the Watchmen characters are
manipulating the DC Universe. Things will begin with the two teams fighting each
other but as the series goes on we will see some members of both teams work
together. Williamson says that Killer Frost will be a major part of the event.
He promises that we will see the introduction of a catalyst that will either
make the teams fight or work together. Once the event is over fans will have a
pretty clear idea of the future of Rebirth and some will become fully aware of
what happened to the New 52 universe. The most immediate change will lead into a
brand new Justice League of America title that will have a team of Batman, Lobo
(the classic version), Black Canary, Killer Frost, Vixen, The Ray, and the Ryan
Choi Atom. Killer Frost, Vixen, The Ray and Atom will get one shots in January
all written by Steve Orlando. Those one-shots will set up the twice-monthly
February launching series from Orlando and Ivan Reis. And since Orlando also
writes Supergirl expect her to join the team at some point. |
