THE FORCE WILL COME TO TV EVENTUALLY Posted: 020117
At one point we were going to see a Star Wars Underworld live-action TV series. The show never got past the scripting stage before the plug was pulled. None of the scripts have been tossed out. Disney Media Networks Co-Chairman and Disney-ABC Television President Ben Sherwood says the idea isn’t dead but way down the line after a few of the new movies come out. ABC network president Channing Dungey did admit they have been talking about a show but that’s about all she would admit to.
