Lots More Coming to the Small Screen From Marvel

Marvel has a number of new TV shows in the works including the Inhumans, Cloak and Dagger and Runaways. ABC is doing the Inhumans which will debut in IMAX theaters on 9/1 before running on the network on 9/28. The eight-episode series will star Hell on Wheels’ Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Lost’s Ken Leung as Karnak, Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Graceland’s Serinda Swan as Medusa, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran and Ellen Woglom as an unknown character. We will also see Lockjaw in the series. Freeform will be the home of Cloak and Dagger which will star Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, Rescue Me’s Andrea Roth, ER’s Gloria Reuben, Miles Mussenden, Carl Lundstedt, James Saito and J.D. Evermore. The show will debut next winter. Hulu will be the home of Runaways. In that series the team will be played by Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin and Allegra Acosta. The Pride, a group of villains who are also the teams parents will be played by Buffy’s James Marsters, Kip Pardue, Timeless’ Annie Wersching, Alias’ Kevin Weisman, Ever Carradine, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Brittany Ishibashi, James Yaegashi and Brigid Brannagh. American Crime’s John Ridley is also working on a still secret Marvel show for ABC.
