Both Greg Rucka and Liam Sharp will leave Wonder Woman. Rucka
departed because the twice-monthly shipping was too much for him. Sharp already
has a new DC project. DC Super Hero Girls’ Shea Fontana will take over writing
duties for at least five issues…Future Quest ends with #12 but the characters
will return in an anthology series spotlighting the characters within…DC and
Tony Isabella have reached an agreement on Black Lighting. It’s amazing what a
TV show can do to mend fences. The dispute between the two parties had to do
with DC’s claim that the character had been co-created by Isabella and Trevor
Von Eeden as part of a work-for-hire agreement, whereas Isabella always claimed
that the idea was his alone…we will learn why Lobo was picked to be a member of
the Justice League…DC will reduce double shipping on some titles…Birds of Prey
year two adds more females to the cast and will have the Calculator as the main
villain…Raptor will return to Nightwing as will Spyral and Helena…the Bloodlines
villain Terrorsmith will return in Justice League of America…there is a Batgirl
and the Birds of Prey/Nightwing crossover planned…in Detective an arc focusing
on the Order of St. Dumas will lead to the creation of a new A.I. version of
Azrael…Geoff Johns will be writing an ongoing that is either a Legion of Super
Heroes book or a revival of the Justice Society…DC’s oversized collection
Wildstorm: A Celebration of 25 Years will contain new WildC.A.T.S., Gen 13,
Authority, Backlash and Wildcats 3.0 stories. |
