Black’s restart of The Predator (he was part of the original cast) has wrapped
filming and this is what we know so far: the film stars Logan’s Boyd Holbrook,
Chuck’s Yvonne Strahovski, Game of Thrones’ Alfie Allen, This Is Us’ Sterling K
Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, Punisher’s Thomas Jane, Edward James Olmos and
X-Men’s Olivia Munn. It could have also starred UFC’s Conor McGregor but he
turned it down because it didn’t pay enough and he didn’t have eight weeks to
spare. Who we will not see is Arnold Schwarzenegger because the part wasn’t big
enough. Black has made it clear that the film is not a reboot/remake of the
original film. In fact it’s connected to Predator 2 because Jake Busey is
playing the son of U.S. Government Agent Peter Keyes. His father played the part
of Keyes in Predator 2. The Predator will be released on 8/3/2018. |
