Now that we have seen Dark Days: The Forge and Dark Days: The Casting the stage
is now set for this weeks release of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s Dark
Nights: Metal. Here is what we know about what will follow: it has roots to
stories as far back as The Return of Bruce Wayne…we may see the Rebirth debut of
Billy Batson…there is something inside of Plastic Man…the idea of Bats vs. Birds
will be expanded on…the Dark Multiverse is where our fears and fantasies
exist…Duke Thomas is now known as The Signal and he will get his own book…Jeff
Lemire, Bryan Hitch and Kevin Nowlan are doing a one-shot called Hawkman Found
#1. It could lead to a Hawkman title under the Dark Matter banner…two new Dark
Matter titles are Brimstone (Philip Tan and Justin Jordan) and The Terrifics
(Ivan Reis and Jeff Lemire). The roster of the Lemire book is: Mr. Terrific,
Metamorpho, Phantom Girl, and Plastic Man...expect a Vertigo Universe superstar
to cross over into the DCU and become an important part of the story. |
