 Christopher McQuarrie is in the middle of shooting
Mission: Impossible 6 and says the tone of the new film will be different. The
film will be based in one location this time. It will show Tom Cruise’s Ethan
Hunt go through an emotional journey and yes, have a huge action sequence. It
will also look different because McQuarrie is allowing Ex Machina’s
cinematographer Rob Hardy to shoot the film the way he wants to and use only
certain lenses. Returning for the film are Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving
Rhames, Sean Harris and Alec Baldwin. Michelle Monaghan, last seen in Mission:
Impossible III will return. The cast has added Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby and
Angela Bassett. The film doesn’t have Jeremy Renner as William Brandt since he’s
shooting the new Avengers film but we may get a cameo. |
