The return of Wolverine will begin with this weeks The Hunt For Wolverine #1 by
Charles Soule and David Marquez. The original plan was for four follow up
one-shots to ship in May but now the one-shots have become four-issue limited
series. The four books are: Weapon Lost (a noir-detective story from Soule and
Matteo Buffagni); Adamantium Agenda (an action/adventure tale from Tom Taylor
and R.B. Silva); Claws Of A Killer (a horror story by Mariko Tamaki and Butch
Guice) and Mystery in Madripoor (a dark romance from Jim Zub and Thorny Silas
who replaces Chris Bachalo). Mystery In Madripoor will send Rogue, Storm,
Psylocke, Domino and Jubilee to Madripoor to investigate rumors that Wolverine
has returned from the dead. The limited series will reintroduce some villains
who haven’t been seen for a while in new costumes designed by Silas, who took
the book over after Bachalo had to drop out due to the death of his wife.
Adamantium Agenda will send Wolverine's New Avengers teammates out to find him.
Marvel hasn’t explained the stories that will be told in the other to limited
series.
