Tickets
for the Young Bucks & Cody's All In show on September 1st at the Sears Centre
Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, sold out within 30 minutes. Depending on how
the seats are configured the crowd could be over 10,000, making it the largest
crowd for an independent show in United States history. Jacques Rougeau has sold
that many tickets a number of times for his Montreal promotion. The show sold
out without any matches announced just with the knowledge that the Young Bucks,
Cody, Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada, and Rey Mysterio Jr. would be on the card.
Cody will challenge Nick Aldis for the NWA World Heavyweight title since NWA
owner Billy Corgan was at the press conference. The card will also include
matches with Tessa Blanchard, Marty Scurll, Hangman Page, and Flip Gordon. The
day before the show CM Punk will have a meet and greet at Pro Wrestling Tees'
store in Chicago. Punk will appear at the store that Friday. Only 200 tickets
were made available for the event. Autographs will cost $50, professional photo
opportunities will cost the same and autograph/photo combos with an exclusive
T-shirt will cost $90. |
