Miss Fury returns in Miss Fury: Joy Division from Shi’s Billy Tucci and Emma Kubert…Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail is teaming with Jeff McKibben and Black Mask Studios co-founder Matteo Pizzoloto write a prequel comic set before the events of Season 1. The book will be drawn by Antonio Fuso…Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples’ Saga is taking a year long break…Tom Scioli is launching a Go-Bots comic for IDW…Joss Whedon’s Dr. Horrible returns in a one-shot from Dark Horse…Fantagraphics will revive The Comics Journal as a bi-annual print magazine. The first issue will ship in January, the second in June…Greg Pak and Marc Laming are teaming on James Bond 007, a new ongoing starting in November…Titan Publishing is teaming with the Alcon Media Group to co-publish a series of comics and graphic novels set in the Blade Runner universe…Jeff Lemire & Dustin Nguyen’s Descender will return under the new name of Ascender…Firefly is getting a new ongoing from BOOM! The creative team is Greg Pak and Dan McDaid. Arc one will show how Mal and Zoe met before the War of Unification…William Gibson’s unmade Alien 3 script will be adapted by Dark Horse by Gibson and artist Johnnie Christmas…IDW’s Black Crown imprint is adding the crime comic, Lodger from Stray Bullets’ David and Maria Lapham. The main character is a drifter able to change his look so he can kill people as he travels through the Midwest as the daughter of one victim hunts him down…Robert Kirkman says Darryl will never be seen in a Walking Dead comic. He says the only person who knows how the zombie apocalypse started is his nine-year-old daughter. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the debut of The Walking Dead Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment will release a deluxe edition box set of the first 144 issues of the comic and an expanded edition of the Here Comes Negan graphic novel.
