of the stories prior to Comic-Con International was a new initiative from
Valiant called Valiant Beyond, a line up of limited, ongoing books and specials.
The character of Livewire was announced as getting a limited series but now the
book is an ongoing. The series is coming from the team of Vita Ayala, Raúl Allén
and Patricia Martín. The series will have Livewire determine whether she wants
to be a hero or a villain. This is the first book that Ayala has ever done for
the publisher. The title will happen after the events of Harbinger Wars 2 and
show her understanding that the organization she was working for wasn’t what she
thought it was at all. She thought that Harada’s vision was correct but now sees
he was wrong and people aren’t expendable. As the series progresses Livewire
will take on threats introduced in the last year but in the first arc she will
face off against someone she once thought was her friend. |
