There
were a lot of new trademarks filed in Jacksonville, FL, that suggests a new
wrestling organization is coming and with it a roster filled with the biggest
non-WWE talents on the market. On 11/5 the following were trademarked by All
Elite Wrestling, LLC. The address is the same as the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars,
which is owned by the Khan family. Tony Khan, the owner’s son may be the backing
the plan. The names filed for trademark include: All Elite Wrestling, AEW All
Out, All Out, AEW, Double or Nothing, Tuesday Night Dynamite, AEW Double Or
Nothing and several logos for each of them. Each trademarks goods and services
section mentions a large amount of potential merchandise options, live streaming
PPV content, and more. It is believed that Nick and Matt Jackson (The Young
Bucks) and Cody Runnels, are behind the plan since Elite and Double or Nothing
were mentioned by Runnels after All In. The three and Kenny Omega will be the
biggest free agents in January. Currently they wrestle for New Japan Pro
Wrestling and Ring of Honor. There were rumors that Chris Jericho and Jim Ross
were connected with the venture but they have denied that. |
