The sequel to Batman: White Knight from Sean Gordon
Murphy will focus on a new threat, Azrael, while explaining what inspired Jack
Napier's origin as Joker via Arkham Manor. The sequel will reveal more about
Jason Todd, who left Batman after Joker almost beat him to death before sparing
his life. According to Murphy, "I would love to get to Jason Todd. One of the
happy accidents of Volume 1 was I switched the order of the Robins so that Jason
Todd was not killed, he just left. I, sort of, wanted to touch on that. I'm not
sure if I'm going to fit that in Volume 2, maybe at the end. But if I ever get
to do a third volume, maybe I'll tackle the Jason Todd thing." He also wants to
connect Terry McGinnis to his universe and set up the world of Batman Beyond.
The sequel will be called Batman: Curse of the White Knight. Murphy is working
on another project for DC that he has teased thru his social media accounts. |
