Kevin
Feige, the President of Marvel Studios is now also Marvel's Chief Creative
Officer. Feige is now on the same level as Marvel Chairman Ike Perlmutter. Feige
will continue to report directly to Alan Horn and Alan Bergman, Co-Chairmen of
Walt Disney Studios. Dan Buckley will remain as President of Marvel
Entertainment, and reports to Feige about creative and editorial matters.
Buckley will report to Perlmutter in matters concerning operations, sales, games
and licenses. All the comic creative executives will continue to Buckley. Joe
Quesada, the former CCO of Marvel Entertainment will be Marvel’s Executive Vice
President, Creative Director and according to Buckley will continue to be
Marvel's creative lead, reporting to Buckley. Jeph Loeb, the Executive Vice
President of Marvel Television will report directly to Feige. So Feige is now in
control of just about everything as far as Marvel's creative process is
concerned, from comics, to movies, to television. There have been rumors that
Marvel Studios will take over Marvel Television's projects. The moves made
people speculate about the future of Marvel Editor-In-Chief C.B.Cebulski, who
was hired with the approval of Perlmutter, who Feige has serious issues with.
C.B. has a good relationship with Feige and Disney is quite happy with the comic
end of the business so he should be safe.
