36 was originally slated to take place in Tampa Bay but now is not happening in Florida due to the corona virus. The show will now take
place over two days: Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5. The host will be former NFL star
Rob Gronkowski. Pulled from this years card are both Rey Mysterio and Dana
Brooke who are under quarantine for and as such, have been removed from their
respective matches. However, it's unclear if either Superstar has tested
positive for coronavirus or if this is merely a precautionary measure. Mysterio
was scheduled to defend the United States Championship against Andrade while
Brooke was supposed to compete in a Six-Pack Elimination Match for the SmackDown
Women’s Championship. But things are more complicated than that since Mania will be
filmed on 3/25 and 3/26 at the Performance Center and at other as of yet not
revealed locations. This week and next weeks SmackDown shows were filmed on
3/21, the next two NXT shows are being filmed as I am editing this story and the
next two Raw shows will be filmed on Monday. This years Hall of Fame may take
place SummerSlam weekend but there is no word on when the NXT Takeover show will
be done. There is also no word on whether the Raw after Mania will be live or not. WWE is already selling T-shirts with the new dates and situation.
