This fall we will see Thanos get his own series courtesy of Jeff Lemire and Mike
Deodato. Lemire says Thanos’ mission will be revealed in the first issue and
that the cosmic cube is not involved in the series. The supporting cast for the
title will include Thane, Starfox and Gamora. The title will be a character
study of Thanos and serve to set up a massive Marvel story. Lemire also promises
we will see quite a few surprise characters in the series but wouldn’t confirm
that the glimmer seen in Thanos’ eye in the promo art was the Phoenix Force. |
