Disney CEO Bob Iger says we will see another Indiana Jones film. That was
confirmed in a BBC interview with Harrison Ford. He told them, "I've always
thought there was an opportunity to do another. But I didn't want to do it
without Steven Spielberg. And I didn't want to do it without a really good
script. And happily we're working on both. Steven is developing a script now
that I think we're going to be very happy with." The script will be from David
Koepp who wrote Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. One thing we
do know about the new film is Spielberg has no plans on killing off Jones at the
end of the film. Since Ford is 73 and more films are planned it’s going to be
interesting to see what Disney does with the character. Indiana Jones 5 has a
targeted July 19th 2019 release. |
