The event limited series Death of X shipped last Wednesday (10/05/16) and is
finally telling the story of what happened between the X-Men and the Inhumans
during the eight-month gap after Secret Wars. The series is written by Charles
Soule and Jeff Lemire and drawn by newly exclusive artist Aaron Kuder. During
the gap we know that the adult Cyclops died during the gap and his death put the
two sides against each other. The limited series will show how and why the
various X-Men teams were formed and tell us why the Beast joined the Inhumans.
It will also be the first time we’ve seen Cyclops and Emma Frost in almost a
year. Lemire says the series will also focus on a few seldom seen and obscure
X-Men and Inhumans as well as the major players. The event will be followed by
two limited series-X-Men/Inhumans: ResurrXion and Inhumans vs. X-Men. Inhumans
vs. X-Men will start with a #0 issue and will be drawn by Leinil Yu. |
