Phil “CM Punk” Brooks’ UFC career lasted just one fight. Two years after signing
with UFC Punk’s fight against Mickey Gall was an abject failure. Punk was taken
down quickly and was submitted in three minutes. Punk says he isn’t giving up
and wants another fight but UFC President Dana White told UFC Tonight on FS1:
“Is CM Punk going to be a guy who is going to stay in the UFC and continue to
fight? Probably not; but he wanted to try it. I like the guy. I respect the guy.
He wanted to fight in the UFC. He wanted to do it. He trained for two years, and
he did it.” |
