El Patron (Alberto Del Rio) missed an event in Mexico City and later revealed
that he was attacked and stabbed outside of a restaurant. When he missed the
show AAA said that he failed the Mexican public. It was at that point things got
interesting. Reports say that a fight started in San Antonio, Texas when someone
hit Del Rio’s car. The two got out of the car and started an argument and when
Del Rio went to walk away he was attacked from behind and slashed with the
knife. After stabbing Del Rio multiple times the suspect got in his car and
drove away. There were witnesses to the incident and Del Rio said he informed
the police but the San Antonio Police have no record of the alleged attack.
There are also reports that Paige was there which raised eyebrows because Del
Rio claimed he lost his phone and couldn’t call AAA but she had her phone on her
so she could have informed the promotion about the incident. Then Del Rio told
The Record in Mexico that he and Paige were actually attacked by a “drunken
homeless man” in the parking lot of a restaurant. And as of this writing the San
Antonio Police Department has just one stabbing in their jurisdiction on 10/2
and Del Rio is not listed as the victim. |
