Marvel kept saying that we would see an Inhumans film but the
project kept getting pushed back and we now know why. IMAX Corp., Marvel
Television and Disney’s ABC Television Group have announced a deal that will
turn The Inhumans into a live-action TV series that will debut in theaters
first. The first two episodes will be shot on IMAX digital cameras and run in
theaters for two weeks at the beginning of September 2017. After the first two
episodes the next six episodes will run in ABC and include exclusive content
that can only be seen on ABC. This kind of kills the idea of Vin Diesel playing
Black Bolt unless he wants to do a TV series. The series will be under the hands
of Iron Fist’s showrunner Scott Buck. The first two episodes will premiere in
theaters Labor Day weekend. Marvel has made it clear that the show doesn’t mean
a film isn’t still going to happen. |
