Netflix is doing a ten-episode reboot of Lost In Space. Point Break’s Zack Estrin will run the updated show from Dracula Untold’s Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. The series will again follow the Robinson family who end up stranded in a remote part of space with no way to get home. Many episodes of the new show will be directed by Game of Thrones’ Neil Marshall. The cast is filling out with Falling Skies’ Taylor Russell cast as Judy Robinson. Deadwood’s Molly Parker is set to play Maureen Robinson opposite Black Sails’ Toby Stephens as John Robinson. Sense8’s Maxwell Jenkins will play Will Robinson and Superman Returns’ Parker Posey is set as Dr. Smith. The only role yet to be cast is Major Don West. The show is expected to debut in 2018.
