FOLEY NEEDS A NEW HIP

When rumors surfaced that Mick Foley was going to need hip surgery to deal with all the punishment he suffered in the ring we learned that he does need the $60,000 operation but he doesn’t have health insurance because his coverage dropped this year. He is working under a handshake deal with WWE and the Legends deal he signed for merchandise. Foley posted on Facebook that he should have mentioned his need for surgery earlier since he was getting good luck wishes from friends and colleagues. He was planning on getting the surgery this year but because he doesn’t have health insurance he can’t afford it just yet. He missed a payment and that caused him to be dropped but isn’t sure his new insurance company would even consider paying for a hip that should’ve been replaced years ago. Even though he has lost considerable weight he is always in pain. Foley has asked fans not to raise money to help him but one did and he has made sure fans were given the money back. Foley had helped the fan raise money for leukemia and lymphoma research a few years ago.
