DC hasn’t done many line wide crossover events since
Flashpoint but that will change this summer with an event called Dark Days. The
event will begin with two one-shots written by Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV.
There will be two one-shots called Dark Days: The Forge in June and Dark Days:
The Casting in July. The one-shots will have are from Jim Lee, Andy Kubert and
John Romita Jr. The one-shots will lead into a DCU event that is likely the
Batman DCU event that Snyder has been teasing that reunites him with Greg
Capullo. As of yet there is no description about what the event will entail but
DC has said we will meet new characters during it. Snyder has already made it
clear that the event will not have heroes fighting other heroes and even though
it is possible may have nothing to do with the fact that the Watchmen characters
have interfered with DC continuity. That story as far as we can tell will be
told by Geoff Johns and possibly Phil Jimenez. |
