 Vince Russo has filed a restraining order
against Jim Cornette according to Cornette’s Twitter account. Russo claims he is
a victim of stalking stemming from a podcast where Cornette challenged Russo to
a fight. The two have hated each other for damn near 20 years. Cornette even
bonded with former enemy, Eric Bischoff, on WWE Table for Three. On the podcast
Cornette called Russo the Archbishop of Talent Bury and an unemployed loser. He
even said if he could get away with murdering him and not go to jail, he would.
During the podcast Cornette came up with a solution to the issues between them-a
fight. Russo wasn’t biting and on his own podcast offered up a public apology.
He can’t understand why Cornette keeps going on and on about him and mocked the
very idea of being beat up by a man shaped like him. Cornette wasn’t buying any
of this but admitted that in 2000 he did call Russo and threaten the lives of
his wife and his children. He then said that he was going to get him one day but
since the restraining order exists that’s not going to happen. |
