Cris Cyborg and Angela Magana got into a fight during the UFC
Athlete Retreat. Cyborg wasn’t happy about Magana trolling her on social media
and they got into an argument outside the hotel that ended up with Cyborg
punching Magana in the face. A video of it ended up on You Tube. Magana went to
the hospital under her own power and was supposedly diagnosed with an acute head
injury, cervical strain, and laceration of the lip. She was treated and
released. Cyborg was then charged with misdemeanor battery. As a result of the
fight Cyborg was dropped by GRRRL Clothing since the fight happened after she
spoke at a company event. Cyborg claims they dropped her so they would not have
to pay her for the appearance. For her actions Magana has been barred from the
Alliance MMA gym. Cyborg has entered a plea of not guilty to the battery charges |
