Judge Dredd: Mega-City One is in development, a live-action TV series adaptation
of the 2000 AD comic property. IM Global Television is behind the new TV project
with Brian Jenkins as producer and Jason Kingsley and Mark Stern as executive
producers. All three want Karl Urban to star in the series. Urban has long since
said he wants to play the role again but it isn’t clear if he wants to be
involved in a TV series. The show will follow a team of Judges as they encounter
various challenges of a world in which east-coast cities have merged into a
giant megalopolis. Kingsley says the show is at least two years away. |
