Georges St-Pierre and Michael Bisping want to fight each other but that’s not on
the books right now. GSP had challenged Bisping for the UFC middleweight
championship. But GSP needed eye surgery and Bisping is still recovering from a
knee injury. UFC President Dana White got tired of waiting and announced that
the winner of the Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker fight for an interim
middleweight title would then fight Bisping. St-Pierre is expected to return in
November to fight whoever has the middleweight title at the time. St-Pierre is
willing to wait and fight Bisping after that. It’s also possible that GSP will
fight the winner of the Tyron Woodley and Demian Maia fight so he can fight at
his natural 170-pound weight. |
