 In the pages of Jean Grey we
have seen her looking for ways to prevent herself from being controlled by the
Phoenix Force. As Marvel Legacy begins in October #8 will have Jean encounter
Emma Frost in an attempt to avoid her fate. The arc from Dennis Hopeless and
Victor Ibanez will be called Psych War. Before crossing paths will Frost Jean
has connected with Hope Summers and Namor but in Psych War Jean will try to get
her help without Frost knowing it. And as she sneaks into Emma’s mind readers
will see all of her memories, daydreams and nightmares. Before we get to the arc
Jean will team with Psylocke, Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch. Of course
even though Jean is trying to avoid her fate Hopeless says it’s inevitable that
she and the Phoenix Force will face off but that is a while off. |
