We now know a lot more about writer-artist Sean
Gordon Murphy’s eight-issue limited series Batman: White Knight. In this take
Batman is the criminal and the Joker is the hero, a Don Draper-inspired media
influencer and protector of Gotham. The project will include many villains from
Batman: The Animated Series as well as Renee Montoya (who will not be the
Question). Murphy’s Joker will take on the role of a politician who turns the
public against Batman. In the series Gotham will be portrayed as a real city
forced to question whether Batman is a help or a problem. |
