Remender and Wes Craig’s Deadly Class is set the secretive clandestine King’s
Dominion School of the Deadly Arts, where the children of criminals, spies and
terrorists are trained to become assassins. We have seen that the freshmen class
of 1987 was forced to fight each other. And recent issues have shown just how
many survived to become sophomores and are now tormenting the new freshmen
class. One of those sophomores is Saya, who spared Marcus and even got him back
together with his girlfriend Maria. Remender will keep her out of the book as he
fills in her background and her need to graduate since her brother is a jerk. He
says he was always going to bring Marcus back then changed his mind then
reconsidered since the producers of a planned TV version wanted to use him. The
move gives him more options on the direction the comic is going to take.
Rememder also has major plans for Helmut especially because of his romance with
Petra. His stoic nature will help her cope and maybe save her in the process.
Future issues will deal with Tosahwi and Master Lin trying to find out where
Saya went. |
