 Since
The Leftovers is over HBO is having Damon Lindelof adapt Alan Moore and Dave
Gibbons’ Watchmen. His version isn’t the same one that HBO was developing two
years ago with Zack Snyder, who directed the 2009 film adaptation of the comic.
The story of him adapting the comic came out before he actually accepted the
deal. Production on the series has begun. The show will have a writers’ room
with multiple plans laid out and chosen by Lindelof. Since casting hasn’t even
been started the show is probably going to shoot in early 2018 for a 2019
airing. |
