A Bunch of Bytes of News on Upcoming Comic to the
Screen Projects |
The
Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman and his Skybound Entertainment has signed a
first-look deal with Amazon…Wonder Woman may co-star in the Flashpoint film
along with other DC superheroes…James Gunn says he is working on the script for
Guardians of the Galaxy volume 3 which will end with a change in the team
roster…David F. Sandberg says the Shazam film will be light hearted and he will
not digitally de-age the lead…Emily VanCamp says she doesn’t know when her
Sharon Carter character will appear but she was going to be on Marvel’s Agents
of SHIELD but was doing Revenge at the time and wasn’t available…ABC will be the
primary home of any new Marvel show…rumors have Sony making a Nightwatch film
coming from Spike Lee…Sony has the distribution rights to The Crow reboot…David
Ayer’s Gotham City Sirens is still in development but will not happen until
after the Joker & Harley Quinn film comes out…Marvel is developing a new
female-centric Marvel show with ABC…Guardians Vol. 3 will set up the MCU for the
next two decades and introduce new characters…the leading candidates to direct
the Justice League Dark film are Life’s Daniel Espinosa and Housebound’s Gerard
Johnstone…Community’s Joel McHale is in talks to play Woody in the Quantum &
Woody TV adaptation of the Valiant comic…The Accountant’s Gavin O’Connor will
direct Suicide Squad 2 |
