Morrison and Liam Sharp will launch the 12-issue limited series The Green
Lantern in November. Morrison says the series will "focus down on the everyday
life of a space cop. Basically, it’s no more apocalypse-ending storylines. The
basic concept is that Hal Jordan is like a space cop that patrols a sector of
the universe where anything can happen. We’ve made it more like a police
procedural." The book will have Hal on a series of solo adventures and have him
interact with mostly alien Green Lanterns. The first arc has Jordan hunting down
criminals released on Earth after their transport ship crashes. Morrison will
show Jordan as a man who drifts from job to job because he’s only at his best in
space. |
