Thompson is getting very busy over at Marvel. Her Rogue and Gambit limited
series was very well received and in X-Men: Gold #30 Gambit proposed to Rogue
and she said yes. In the current ongoing Mr. and Mrs. X series from Thompson and
Oscar Bazaldua we see the two on their honeymoon in the Shi’Ar Empire. The
series will put the couple in the middle of different types of adventures. The
first arc will reveal what we didn’t see before they made the sudden decision to
marry and have them go off into space to avoid X-Men issues only to end up in
the middle of a volatile situation. The arc will have them stuck with Deadpool,
which will create all kinds of awkward moments. Thompson will have the duo on
their own before introducing a supporting cast later on during the series run. |
