 Since
being released from UFC Matt Riddle has become a full time wrestler and has
finally signed an NXT contract. Riddle was cut from UFC after multiple marijuana
suspensions so he decided to become a pro wrestler and has had a series of
four-five star matches for multiple independent promotions. It was an open
secret the WWE wanted him and before SummerSlam he dropped out of a show for
Combat Zone Wrestling. Riddle also dropped out of the major PWG Battle of Los
Angeles, shows for Over the Top Wrestling in Dublin, Ireland and lost the EVOLVE
Championship. New Japan Pro Wrestling also wanted him for their US shows but
Riddle decided to take the WWE money. |
