showrunners Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan will adapt Neuromancer author William
Gibson’s 2014 novel The Peripheral into a series for Amazon. The series will
revolve around Flynne Fisher, a woman in a near-future America in which
technology has started to subtly alter society…The CW will return to Sunday
nights this fall for the first time since 2009… a new film version of the 1980s
event series V will be written, produced and directed by the original’s creator
Kenneth Johnson…the Conjuring director/producer James Wan is adapting the
Stephen King novel The Tommyknockers into a movie. The property had been adapted
into a TV mini-series in 1993…a live action Street Fighter TV series is in
development…Netflix has ordered Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight, a
horror anthology series…FOX says we will see a new season of 24 which could
involve Kiefer Sutherland since Designated Survivor has been cancelled. The
network is working on another season of Prison Break but says since Gillian
Anderson says she is done with the series The X-Files is dead…Warner Bros.
