Gerry Duggan and John McCrea’s Dead Rabbit ongoing from Image will tell of a legendary thief who is forced to come out of retirement. The man in question is Martin Dobbs a retired thief and armed robber who wore a mask and used the name during the ’90s. He gave up the life when he fell in love but now that his wife is sick and running up massive medical bills he returns to being the Dead Rabbit. Duggan says that during the series Dead Rabbit is a criminal but will never be the biggest criminal in the story. The series will be set in Boston, where Duggan went to college. The plan for both creators is to do a 60 issue run but the end of the series is already decided so it could go less.

It all begins with DEAD RABBIT #1 which is currently scheduled to ship on New Comic Wednesday-100318 with a $3.99 cover price and three standard variant covers.
