 Marvel
now has the Conan license back and have announced an ongoing Conan The Barbarian
series from Jason Aaron, Mahmud Asrar and Esad Ribic (for covers) starting in
January. Dark Horse Comics had the rights to the character but a deal was struck
with Marvel Entertainment and Conan Properties International to take over the
property again. Aaron has been a fan of the character since he picked up a used
Conan paperback when he was 13 and Asar says the first comic he ever read was a
Conan comic. Bleeding Cool has reported that Marvel is going to announce two
other Conan titles, Savage Sword of Conan (launching in February) and Age of
Conan (launching in March). |
