Billington, known in professional wrestling as the Dynamite Kid, has passed away
at 60 years old. The cause of Billington's death has not been revealed but he
had been confined to a wheelchair since 1997. He had a long history of both
health and personal problems. Billington was and is considered one of the most
influential in-ring wrestlers of all time. He changed the way fans looked at the
junior heavyweights. Dynamite Kid was an early user of steroids and did moves
that were considered insane like head butts onto concrete floors. All
contributed to his being in a wheelchair. He was a part of the British Bulldogs
tag team with Davey Boy Smith. The team broke up at Billington’s request, who
