Michael Bay’s next two films will be 6 Underground, an action film written by Deadpool’s Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese and an adaptation of Daniel H. Wilson’s sci-fi novel Robopocalypse, a film set after a robot uprising…Keanu Reeves is being sought for Past Midnight, a new Netflix film dealing with a different kind of vigilante superhero…Fate of the Furious’ F. Gary Gray is set to direct the film adaptation of Hasbro’s M.A.S.K. for Paramount Pictures…Legendary has closed a deal for an untitled heist film from Bad Day for the Cut’s Chris Baugh and Brendan Mullin. The story is a subversion of the superhero genre and follows a group of career criminals who stage a heist on the lair of a superhero and must escape with their lives when everything goes wrong…Echo Lake is making We Interrupt This Program, which will deal with the internal battles between Orson Welles and producer John Houseman that almost made the radio broadcast of H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds never happen.
