NXT's Move USA Opposite AEW, Establishes the Wednesday
Night War's |
WWE
NXT will move from the WWE Network to the USA Network staring on September 18.
The 2-hour show will run live from Full Sail University. So instead of taping
four shows once a month NXT will do a 2-hour show in its natural time slot. The
move isn’t likely to affect the writing staff since it’s basically HHH, a few
other writers and Brian (Road Dogg) James. TV production isn’t going to change
much either since the crew is a mix of professionals and talent who have
graduated or are still learning at the school. This isn’t something new because
once AEW announced a Wednesday night show the WWE had a natural and obvious
counter. The 9/18 date is weeks before the 10/2 as of yet nameless AEW show. The
shows will run at the same time from 7pm to 9pm. WWE stock increased $2.57 per
share to $72.18 due to the planned announcement which didn’t happen on the 8/19
Raw.
