Benjamin Percy was raised hunting and exploring in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest so he has always identified with Logan and is the perfect man to handle the Wolverine ongoing starting in February. The ongoing will be drawn by Adam Kubert and Viktor Bogdanovic. Percy had already written the Wolverine audio drama Wolverine: The Long Night and the comic version. That led him to getting the gig on X-Force as part of Dawn of X. Percy says the book will deal with the uncertainty of Wolverine’s brain since he has been mind-wiped multiple times and given false memories. The book will show Logan’s sense of atonement since through the years he has killed multiple times. When the series begins Logan will be the happiest he has ever been now that he is surrounded by family but as we all know happiness doesn’t last forever. The title will honor the legacy of Wolverine and use new villains but a major Omega Red arc is coming. One thing that Percy will stress is that by nature Wolverine does not fit into the plans of the Quiet Council but the sides will have a mutual respect for one another. The plan is for Adam Kubert and Viktor Bogdanovic to alternate arcs but other artists may join the rotation.
