This is everything you ever wanted to know about the Spider-Man event The Clone
Conspiracy as of today: the story is something that Dan Slott has been pushing
for two years…The Clone Conspiracy #1 will have a back-up story starring Gwen
Stacy drawn by Ron Frenz…every issue will have a major surprise that will be
explored in Amazing Spider-Man…the new Prowler series from Sean Ryan and Jamal
Campbell will pick up story threads from Amazing Spider-Man and from the Mark
Waid and Chris Samnee run on Daredevil…most of the arc will take place in San
Francisco…we will see variant covers from a lot of classic Spider-Man
artists…Amazing Spider-Man #21 will reveal where Kaine has been and what he has
been secretly been up to. What we do know is that he isn’t The Other anymore…we
aren’t likely to see the return of Ben Reilly…the Silk tie-in will deal with the
return of Mattie Franklin, J. Jonah Jameson and Marla Jameson’s adopted
daughter…we will not see tie-ins with Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Spider-Gwen,
Spider-Man/Deadpool or Spider-Man 2099 since they are connected with Civil War
