Even
though she died in April, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office's autopsy
report finally went public this week on the death of Joanie “Chyna” Laurer.
According to the report Laurer had several prescription drugs in her system when
she died including the painkillers oxycodone and oxymorphone, as well as Valium,
nordiazepam (a muscle relaxant) and temazepam (a sleeping aide). The drugs were
mixed with alcohol, all of which caused a synergistic effect, resulting in
severe CNS depression. At the time her manager Anthony Anzaldo had found her
body after being unable to contact her for three days through both social media
and her phone. The autopsy report said he entered her home through an unlocked
front door on April 20 and discovered her in bed, unresponsive. He called 911
and when authorities arrived on the scene the report states they found multiple
bottles of prescription medications around Chyna’s apartment including bottles
of prescription medications, an empty blister pack and two peach tablets on the
floor. They also found a blue tablet and a medication container was found in the
dining room. Paramedics found a “bloody purge and foam coming from her nose and
mouth.”. There were no signs of foul play. |
