With the end of Inhumans vs. X-Men both
franchises are getting new titles. While the X-Men split off into Blue and Gold
teams/books the Inhumans new title is the Royals, which will take
Black Bolt, Medusa, Gorgon, Flint and Swain and send them off into space. On the
racks this week, the book is written by Al Ewing and drawn by former Teen Titans artist Jonboy Meyers. The team
is going off into space to discover the secrets of
their origins with the help of Marvel Boy. Oh, and by the way one member of the
family will die. As the series progresses the team will explore known parts of
Marvel space and go beyond that before returning to Earth. Their mission will
have them discover how the universe ties into the Terrigen mists that give the
Inhumans their powers. In their travels they will encounter the Kree and the
Universal Inhumans while revealing some of the secret history surrounding the
Inhumans, the Kree and the Celestials. Some of that secret will be revealed at
the end of the first arc of the series. In that arc we will discover where Ronan
the Accuser has been since the end of the Black Vortex event and what the event
did to him. |
