There
wasn’t an Image Expo this year so Image announced a variety of new titles at the
Emerald City Comicon. At the convention they announced Joe Casey and Ulises
Farnias’ New Lieutenants of Metal, the five-issue limited series Death of Love
from Justin Jordan and Donal DeLay, Morgan Beem and Nikki Ryan’s The Family
Trade (set in a man-made floating city), Joseph Keatinge and Wook Jin Clark’s
Flavor (described as a food James Bond), Sarah Vaughn, Leia Del Duca and Alissa
Sallah’s Sleepless, Moon Knight’s Jordie Bellaire and Vanesa Del Rey’s Redlands
(about corrupt cops that are also witches), Jody LeHeup, Sebastian Girner and
Neil Vendrell’s Shirtless Bear-Fighter, Jeff Lemire and Phil Hester’s Family
Tree, the five-issue The Hard Place from Doug Wagner and Nick Rummel, Ales Kot
and Andre Lima Araujo’s Generation Gone (about a couple that hates each other
who get superpowers), Kot and Tradd Moore’s The New World (set after a second
Civil War in the future), Matt Wagner’s Mage: The Hero Denied, a Declan Shalvey
GN called Savage Town, the six-issue limited series from Klaus Janson and Pablo
Raimondi Sacred Creatures (the first issue is 66 pages and the remaining five
will be 35 pages) and Grace Ellis and Shae Beagle’s Moonstruck. |
